Hi. I'm Anna Hithersay. I am a freelance calligrapher and I would love
to partner with you in creating unique works of art with the written
word.
I have a passion for
literature, history and beauty. All my loves converge in the art form
of calligraphy where attention to detail, tradition, and creation of
beautiful written words all work together.
In addition to my work as a calligrapher, I am a professional
reference librarian at a local college. After finishing my BA and
then my MS I began searching for something new to learn that was outside
of my very academic-minded profession. Calligraphy naturally became my
newest focus because beautiful handwriting is a life-long obsession of
mine.
I share my life in Dallas with my husband Jason and our cat Cora
Munro as well as lots of family and friends. It will be my pleasure to
work with you to create beautiful, custom artwork to suit your needs and
tastes.
